Students safer without cell phones: NASRO to New Haven Register

Children are safer in schools when they don't have access to cell phones, NASRO executive director Mo Canady told the New Haven (Connecticut) Register, especially during emergency situations.

"If we're in a critical incident situation, we as a whole need students focused on their teacher and the direction that the teacher is giving them, not focused on their device. Because if they're on their device, they're distracted," Canady told the newspaper.
