New school resource officers must receive specialized training immediately — NASRO to WBAL TV, Baltimore

“I would like to see our partners from the various counties within Maryland come together, and let’s get the training started. We’ve got to start that training as soon as the school year ends.”

As law enforcement agencies across Maryland recruit new school resource officers, NASRO president Don Bridges provided advice to all new SROs during an interview with Baltimore’s WBAL TV: Get specialized training immediately.
