Law enforcement not primary school resource officer role — NASRO to AP

“Although we are law enforcement, that is the last-resort function that we have.”

That’s part of what NASRO Second Vice President DJ Schoeff told the Associated Press about the nationally recognized school resource officer training we provide.

DJ also said building relationships, deterring crime and acting as an informal counselor or mentor should be an SRO’s primary duties.
