Armed personnel in schools should be sworn, trained law enforcement officers. That’s what NASRO executive director Mo Canady told Colorado Public Radio (CPR). The news organization interviewed Canady for a story about a Colorado school system’s decision to purchase semi-automatic rifles for its security guards who, according to CPR, are not law enforcement officers.
