NASRO is the largest school-based police organization in the U.S. With a membership of over 6,000 officers from all over the country, we provide a vast network of experience and expertise all directed at one goal of providing safe learning environments for our students. We offer training classes on a regional basis and at our annual conferences. The 2012 Annual Conference will be in Reno, Nevada. Our annual conferences draw more than 1,000 school resource officers and educators from schools throughout the country. In recent years we have seen a growing number of attendees from outside the U.S. who are also concerned about providing safer schools.

NASRO is organized in to 9 regions. Each region is headed by a Regional Director whose responsibility is to serve as a liaison between NASRO and the SROs and educators within his or her region. NASRO overall mission is to provide an ever-changing array of training programs and services to SROs and educators throughout the nation who are concerned about the subject of school safety.
